About this conference
This conference offers up to 5.5 Continuing Education Units (CEUs), including 4.5 live CE hours and 1 self-study CE hour, approved by the Minnesota Board of Social Work. The agenda features an interactive keynote on building resilience, sessions on supporting children and adolescents impacted by caregiver incarceration, strategies for supporting immigrants in Southeastern Minnesota, leading through constant change to build empowered and resilient teams, recognizing and responding to complex trauma in child welfare, understanding veterans' mental health and suicide prevention, and balancing compassion, ethics, and professional boundaries in human services. An additional on-demand session covers the basics of legislative advocacy for human service professionals.
