Ambulance Dispatch Services RFP

Description: Provide continuous 24/7/365 emergency basic life support ambulance dispatching services in a high-volume environment averaging 23,600 annual calls for service and 14,500 medical center transports. The contractor must maintain a minimum on-duty staff of two (2) State Certified EMTs who are also certified Emergency Medical Dispatchers and Emergency Communications Officers. Responsibilities include receiving, prioritizing, and dispatching units, as well as keeping meticulous tracking records and submitting monthly reports to the Office of Emergency Management regarding system statuses, ambulance unavailability, Fire Department asset dispatches, and mutual aid requests.
